What’s New in FellowshipOne – Release 21.06

Here at FellowshipOne, we are passionate about empowering your church with our growing suite of ministry solutions. It is our privilege to serve as your partner in ministry and we are pleased to inform you of the great new features that are available to you from release 21.06 (released on June 25th).

New and updated features include:

Negative Batches Now Sync From FellowshipOne Giving
FellowshipOne Giving batches with a total amount less than 0 (say for refunds or chargebacks) will now sync to the batches page within FellowshipOne to allow more visibility when reconciling.

Nine Dot
The Nine Dot menu in the top right-hand corner now contains more products that you utilize like WorshipPlanning or Shelby Financials. The enhanced Nine Dot also provides an easy way to explore other Ministry Brands’ offerings.

Powerful New Form Capabilities Are Now Available In FellowshipOne Portal
We are thrilled at the excitement brought by the new integrations with Forms in FellowshipOne Giving! So much so, that we have now expanded FellowshipOne to include the same great form builder you use today in FellowshipOne Giving. You can now leverage robust form-building capabilities without ever leaving FellowshipOne and you can expand access to any portal user on your staff or volunteers. Simply add the new security rights found in the admin tab to begin building forms under the WebLink tab on the main menu. Don’t have FellowshipOne Giving? No problem! Forms are now available to your church, just follow the same steps above and start creating a form!

Event Registration Participant Assignment
Mimicking existing functionality in FellowshipOne, portal users can now create an association with a Form and a Participant assignment. Portal users can setup the association to a specific field that allows for assignments to be created based on an answer to a question. With the association in place, all submissions of that form that meet the specified criteria will result in a participant assignment. This new setup page can be found on the WebLink tab and users must have Ministry Read or Write rights in addition to WebLink rights to access the Participant Assignment Setup page.

Upgrades To Event Registration Syncing
Updated because of the great feedback provided by churches like yours, the Event Registration sync now utilizes all First and Last name fields on the form to attribute the event on their profile page. The same is true of the new Participant Assignments, all individuals found on the form and with the expected fields will receive an assignment. The top email and name field on the form will be attributed to the submission as the main attendee. Any subsequent name fields found on the form will also be attributed to the submission. FellowshipOne will attempt to map the names to a perfect match within the household of the main registrant and if no match is found a new individual is created and added to that household.

Bulk Actions Now Available On The People Search Page
People search is the easiest way to find a list of individuals based on their name, address, or status/attributes and with the introduction of bulk actions, you can now leverage this list of individuals to send an email, add them to a group, or perform a mass action. Simply select one or more checkboxes and click the new settings gear at the top or bottom of the page.
