While Fellowship One can't do this automatically, you can do this in a few quick steps:

1. Run Report "Core Assignment Records (v2.6)" M1400 to gather all people who have participant assignments to the Activities you determine.  Be sure to click on Additional Filters at the bottom to filter by the Status of "Guest"
2. In the Output Type - Select "Temporary Group" and then rename the Temporary Group to something that makes sense to you (i.e. Guests w/ Participant Assignments)
3. Run the report
4. Navigate to the Temporary Group you just created in Fellowship One by clicking:  Groups --> View All --> Temporary Groups
5. Click on the your Temporary Group to open it
6. Select everyone in the Temporary Group, Click on the Action Gear in the lower left corner of the list, then click on "Perform a Mass Action"
7. Use the Mass Action to change their status from Guest to Attendee.
