Is it possible to edit the "first contact" date for an Individual?

Type: Forum Post
By: Dave Moore on 11.04.11 in -Ideas and Suggestions-

We have people who joined our church well before we started using F1, and who weren't in our system for some reason, so they the appear like they've started coming this year, when they've been coming for 3-4 years.

Any ideas?

It would be good if "First Contact" reset itself if the "status date" was set to a date before "First Contact" date.

The First record date should automatically change to the oldest record that you have on file for that individual. This means contact items, giving, attendance... etc.

What about "Status Date"? Should the "First Contact" reflect the "status date" if its earlier? ('cause its not doing that for me) :)

Hmmm... and those things like "Contact Items" won't let me choose a date more than a weeks old... I need to change this guy's "First Contact" to 3 years ago.

Would it take Attribute Dates into account?

Just checked... it doesn't take Attribute Dates into account. :(

any other ideas?
