Make Infellowship Permissions More Granular (Profile Editor/Church Directory)

Type: Forum Post
By: ddoell on 4.13.11 in -Ideas and Suggestions-

We would like to have more control over the permissions for profile editor and church directory. Currently anyone with weblink access is able to turn these permissions on or off. We have a number of staff and volunteers with weblink access and do not want someone *accidentally* enabling or disabling these functions.

We would like these permissions to be more granular -- similar to Group Type rights where you have to check a box to enable them.

Thank you!

Yes, I think more granular permissions would make people feel more safe / comfortable using it. Thanks for this suggestion.

ABSOLUTELY needed!!!! We have 250 F1 portal users and many with WebLink access. It is general practice for us to turn on WebLink so that our staff can setup WebLink forms for registration. Considering the scope of the InFelllowship capability, I am VERY surprised that a security right was not setup.
