Registered Sex Offender or Security Flag
It would be great if there was a "flag" that would indicate if an individual is a registered sex offender or a security threat to a church. Currently we use notes and since we are in California the notes are called "Megan's Law" or we also have another note section called, "Security"; however only individuals with certain rights can see those notes. We'd like to have a visual indication that an individual is a sex offender or has is a security risk, so if anything comes up in the future any staff member would see the indication and know that that indication means to contact security (only security and other staff with certain rights would be able to read the notes on the individual).
In the past it was suggested that an individual have a red outline around their picture to make a visual indication of an individual who is a security risk. However, there is no way to run a report or query to quickly pull up those individuals, or manage them in the future. You would need to keep a list manually of all those individuals with the outline around them.
If Fellowship One had something that would put an outline around there picture, or maybe a check mark somewhere and you could also run a report on these specific individuals that would be great. Thank you!

Possibly, you could create an attribute called security, which would be both query-able and reportable. It wouldn't show up at check in I don't think (we don't use check-in), but you could use that in conjunction with the red outline. Or you could use a nondescript code in the Tag Comment field, like a simple S.
We utilize a churchwide requirement for all volunteers to clear through Meganslaw, if they are not cleared their status would be posted as "conditional" and a confidential note would be posted with any specific details.
We put a note on their record (type: "Security" note: "Registered Sex Offender"), and we also change their last name to start with an Asterisk. (*) That way, when they register for an event/class/etc., they are the first to show up in a list. We just have to remember to remove the asterisk on our mailing list/excel sheet when we do mailouts. Administration, Children's Ministry, and Student Ministry are all aware at all times of who is on the Security list, and can review it by typing an asterisk "*" into the search field.
