This is the place where all Fellowship One customers can share ideas, learn, and get help.
As we highlighted in late 2010, our road to a world-class reporting solution included three paths: Core Reports, Dashboards, and Reporting Analytics. While we are still improving all of these, I am happy to say that we have made significant progress on each front.

Description: the merger of many "like" reports into a single, more functional and thoughtful report. Progress: 12 Core Reports created, reducing our library from 3268 reports to 2633. Goal for 2012: Reduce the library by another 633 reports with 5 new reports and 8 enhancements. |
Description: integrating information into the functionality giving you the answers to the questions when you need it, where you need it; no more reporting! Progress: an attendance dashboard has been integrated into the individual detail page and several dashboards have popped up in Groups 2.0 functionality. Goal for 2012: add dashboard into giving area |
Description: a powerful tool that allows you to build your own reports using a graphical SQL tool. Progress: tool has been integrated into our data tables and over 30 churches have been using and proving the functionality. Goal for 2012: Release tool to all churches using Premier edition; no specific timeline. |
We believe that data is worthless if it isn't transformed into information that can be used to make decisions and help processes. It is that mantra we rally around as we improve upon the "reporting" solutions in FellowshipOne.

Curtis - Thanks for the update. I am getting significant presure on having the Analytics tool available for our exec team. I need something I can go back to them with. Either if we can become a beta/early adopters site, or if you could give us a more concrete timeline as to general availability.
PLEASE!
Neil - I really wish, I mean REALLY WISH, I could give you a better timeline for this project. When I get one, I will update it immediately so everyone can see it. As far as getting you on the beta, I'm not sure how helpful that would be since the beta is why this thing isn't out yet... there are simply too many data issues that need to get resolved before it can be valuable.
Is there something in particular that we can address? What is the motivation for the urgency?
Thanks in advance, wish I had better news for you.
Hi Curtis - We have a number of metrics that our exec team and board currently like to have reported to them on a weekly/monthly basis as an exec summary. For 2012 we have a new additional set of metrics that we refer to as GDOs (God desired outcomes) which are being tracked against target numbers. All of the data for the GDOs is captured in F1 and is interigatable via various reports. Currently this is done and then manually collated in Excel. This is a time heavy process. I imagine/hope the the analytics dashboard should be able to present that information in a quick(er) easy(er) way that is available when required, rather than having to wait for someone to compile a report. These are key to many of our new 2012 programs and activities, some of which have had signigicant fiscal investment.
Neil - can you pass me a copy of the compiled GDO's; I'll bet our Dev team could benefit from seeing this approach. My email is Curtis.Harris@ActiveNetwork.com
Thanks.
Curtis - WIll do, just need to make it make sense to an external set of eyes
