Groups 2.0 Attendance - Impromptu Meeting
Just in time for the Super Bowl! No more is attendance limited to the rigid, pre-set, schedule of when they are supposed to meet. As of this morning, a small group leader can add an impromptu meeting and immediately take attendance on it. Wait... am I allowed to say Super Bowl? Oh well. Check out the video below for more info.
PS - the next groups release will allow a leader to add a person to the group without forcing the acceptance process. Can't wait!

This will be helpful, thanks for the update. Can't wait for the next one and the ability for group leaders to bypass the acceptance process.

Thanks for the great update. It would be WONDERFUL if we could adjust (or backdate) a member's join date! This would let us add a member to the roster who undexpectedly joined and instantly take attendance on them even if it's a day or two after the meeting.
This is great to see and I, too, cannot wait for the next groups release either...do we know when that will be? Group leaders being able to add their own members is going to be a HUGE lift to our leaders and Groups team. Thanks!

Is there a way to say the group meets the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month? Right now, all I can do is one of these.
This is absolutely wonderful!
Will it be possiple in the future for Portal Users to manually enter attendance for a group 2.0 through the portal if a group leader isn't keeping up or is unable to do attendance? Our software edition doesn't have Span of Care so currently we need to add our groups 2.0 F1 champion to every group as a leader so they can help out the actual group leaders.

Before we can roll out Groups 2.0 functionality to Group leaders we need to be able to allow: - Group Leaders to add individuals to their group - Back date joined date so attendance can be entered for new people Sorry, but, Groups 2.0 not really useful until they can do this as we don't have a huge staff to do some of the data olympics necessary to work around it as is.
