New Features and Enhancements

The following new features and enhancements have been added to Fellowship One:

People Search
A people search shortcut has been added. Use Alt+Shift+S to activate the People Search field quickly from any screen.

Rich Text Editor
Based upon customer feedback, the rich-text editor used throughout Fellowship One has been updated to provide additional features. The new text editor provides support for creating and editing HTML code, inserting images, inserting hyperlinks, text formatting, pasting from Word, pasting as plain text, inserting tables and many more. It is available within the following features: Group Email, News & Announcements, Event Registration Questions and Online Giving confirmation email messaging.

Remove Assignments
Move Assignments has been enhanced to include a Remove feature. This option allows you to find all people who have a particular assignment and then remove the assignments. This is a great feature to use when you no longer have a need to track assignments to past activities. The menu structure to access Move and Remove Assignments has been updated. Click Ministry > Assignments > Manage Assignments to access both features.

Post Attendance
Based upon customer feedback, Post Attendance has been enhanced to provide a more consistent user experience. Instead of displaying all people in attendance, a summarized list of the last people added displays along with a link to View all attendees. Moving the attendees list to a new page allowed the addition of an alpha bar for searching and paging to provide more consistent performance.

REST API
The REST API has been enhanced to include additional features when searching on lastUpdatedDate, people search by an array of ID's and removing the case-sensitivity from the church code. For complete information, visit the Developer Community site.

Issue Corrections
The following updates have been made to Fellowship One:

Automated Attendance Rules
Ministry > Attendance > Automated Attendance Rules has been corrected to include support for split contributions. When using attendance rules, attendance will now post for individuals who give a split contribution.

Birth Date/Status Dates
When entering or modifying individual records, you may now enter a date using MMDDYYYY without a period or dash to separate the date. For example, typing 010101 into a Birth Date or Status Date field will save as 01/01/2001.

Mass Action
You may now perform a Mass Action > Create a Participant Assignment using activities where the name contains special characters. Previously, if any part of the activity naming contained a special character, the action would fail. This has been corrected to allow the action.

Sharing Contacts with Small Group Leaders
Large small group structures may now use the Share with Group drop-down list when managing contacts.

Fellowship One Redesign Miscellaneous Updates
Approximately 12 issues related to the Fellowship One redesign have been corrected. These included issues specific to Internet Explorer 7 and the visual display of fields and data grids.
