ConnectionPower.com Customer Announcement

It is with genuine excitement that I write to all of our ministry
partners, friends and customers. I have an historic announcement that I
believe will better serve you and all of our churches and make a
next-level impact on expanding the Kingdom of God. ConnectionPower.com,
after much deliberation and prayer over the past three years, has
decided to become a part of The Active Network, Inc., which as many of
you may know is a publicly traded company that recently acquired
Fellowship Technologies — another leading provider of church management
software.

Why has ConnectionPower.com, a ministry-focused company that
specializes in church growth, become a part of a secular corporation,
you might ask? First, all corporations are secular; there will be no
companies in heaven. Second, it is about the people who lead companies
and how they serve their customers that really determine the value to
the industry. That said, Active Network has made a bold and
demonstrative commitment to serve the Church by successfully bringing
together two leading church management software companies under its
umbrella. Active Network has fully embraced the mission of both
companies to serve God's Kingdom. This is reminiscent of the way Harper
Collins, a secular corporation, manages Zondervan, a distinctly
Christian publishing company that has successfully served the Church
marketplace for many years. The Active Network leadership team desires
that we continue to be authentically passionate about how we serve our customers, the same as it is in all the markets the company serves.

During my investigative process, it has been a delight to get to
know Jeff Hook, the CEO of Fellowship Technologies, and see his heart
and vision for how technology can empower churches to better serve
people. Jeff is now the general manager of Active Network | Faith and I
will be serving under him as the associate general manager. We are both
convinced that God has brought us together as a dynamic team to better
serve you, your church and God's Kingdom. In the months ahead we will be
working together to merge the unique ministry capabilities of
ConnectionPower™ products with the Fellowship One™ product portfolio.
Eventually this functionality will be rolled out in a new, revolutionary
church management product suite branded and delivered by ActiveWorks |
Faith.

What does all this mean for you as a ConnectionPower.com customer?
Our support to you will continue on as it is currently for the
foreseeable future. If you want to continue using our products until the
new Active Network | Faith product line is rolled out, we are happy to
serve you. ConnectionPower.com will continue to operate, add necessary
enhancements, fix any bugs and serve you like we always have and
hopefully even better with the support of our new parent company.
However, now and over a fairly extended period of time, we will offer
our customers the opportunity to move over to Fellowship One. The good
news is that for the first year you will be grandfathered in at
comparable prices of your ConnectionPower products. I say comparable
because there is not always an apples-to-apples comparison of features
and functions in different systems. The intent is to not make you bear
the burden of this changeover. Based on your specific situation, this
may be something you want to do right away, particularly if you are not
tied to specific ConnectionPower functionality. Or you may want to wait
until the features that you love in ConnectionPower are added to the
Fellowship One product line. Eventually there will be a single product
suite under ActiveWorks | Faith.

I realize that an announcement of this magnitude can raise a lot of
questions. To assist you in this process, Jeff Hook and I will be
conducting a joint webinar meeting on July 7th. At that time we will be
able to answer questions that you may have. Links to a recording of this
webinar will be posted to the home pages of our respective websites so
you can listen to it at your convenience. Additionally, both the
ConnectionPower.com and Fellowship Technologies website homepages will
post a link to an FAQ page on July 5th. As always, you can call our
offices and directly ask any questions that you may have.

I want to close this communication by thanking you for the privilege
of letting us at ConnectionPower.com serve you and your church over the
last nine years. It has been an incredible journey. I am excited to
continue to serve you and to bring the kind of unique
ministry-empowering products that have been the hallmark of
ConnectionPower.com over the years into a much larger and more robust
church management suite. I look forward to continuing to serve you with
passion for Jesus for many years to come!
